Audio-Technica AT1000T, released in Japan in the 1981 during the ˇ§Golden Eraˇ¨ of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a step-up toroidal transformer for use with moving coil (MC) phono cartridges. Audio-Technica is known for producing superb phono cartridges and other audio equipment, and this AT1000T upholds the companyˇ¦s legacy. This transformer is somewhat legendary and rare and remains highly sought after as one of the best MC transformers ever made. It incorporates 4 toroidal transformers (2 per channel), accepts inputs of 3, 20, and 40 ohms, and has the same values for outputs.
