The F.D. 200 fluid damper is a refined, miniature 'shock absorber' which can discriminate between forces which might cause exaggerated arm motion and forces normally encountered in tracking your records.
While it never interferes with normal arm motion, the SME FD200 gently but effectively resists spurious or potentially damaging stylus forces.
