EMT EST10 MC cartridge step up transformer.
EMT EST10 is a representative EMT step-up transformer with excellent wide-band characteristics, covering a frequency range of 30~20,000 Hz.
Although the step-up ratio is low at 1:10, it is a step-up transformer suitable for each EMT cartridge.
It is also compatible with non-EMT medium- to high-impedance cartridges of 10 ohm or higher.
The transformer used is the same one used in the EMT JPA66 phono stage, and has performance equivalent to the 155st phono equalizer of the EMT930/927.
The EST10 is actually this dedicated MC transformer, sold separately.
While many EMT products have been player systems with built-in transformers, such as the EMT930 and EMT927, stand-alone step-up transformers have been available until now.
For example, the STX-20 step-up transformer was released, but the EST10 appears to be superior in terms of performance.
By the way, the EST10 is a step-up transformer optimized for MC cartridges such as the JSD5 and JSD6.

This is ORIGINAL Kiseki / Audio Products hand made by Fukadu San. MCT-1 Improved was tailor made for Kiseki Lapis Lazuli, Black Heart, Agate Ruby and Purple Heart Sapphire MC cartridges, which produced at around end of '80, not today's just said Kiseki.

JBL UT-405 super tweeter horn pair.
The Super Tweeter system was developed from the UHF driver unit of JBL studio monitor.
The UT 405 uses a ring radiator system that is used as a UHF (ultra high frequency) driver for the 4344 mkII and 4344M.
Uses a 2.5 cm tempered titanium diaphragm for the diaphragm.
This diaphragm is made of pure titanium and treated by high heat quenching with nitrogen gas to increase its hardness. Its regenerative capacity in the high-temperature range is expanded to over 70 kHz.
It has a built-in high-pass filter that can be connected directly to the amplifier in parallel with the main speaker.
The circuit uses JBL's unique charge-coupled linear definition network circuit. By applying DC-bias to the capacitor, crossover distortion is eliminated, and ultra-high frequency reproduction with less turbidity is achieved.
Equipped with a crossover frequency selector switch that can select three frequencies. The filter circuit uses a -18dB/oct type with a steep slope.
In addition, it is equipped with an output sound pressure level selection switch that can be set in three levels of 0dB/-2dB/-4dB, so that the level can be adjusted with the main speaker.
A large gold-plated binding post type terminal is used for the input terminal, and a banana plug or speaker cable with Y-type connector can be used.
The 33 mm thick MDF material is used for the front baffle to firmly support the unit.
